Quick Advice Before You Book#
- Do 1–2 trial lessons, not 10.
- Tell the tutor exactly what you want: “dialect + correction + small homework.”
- If they don’t correct you, move on.
Tunisian Dialect (Derja)#
Arij C.
My #1 Tunisian tutor pick. She’s encouraging, organized, and very responsive to feedback. Sessions feel structured without feeling stiff — and I leave remembering things.

Levantine Arabic (Shami)#
Sereen
My go-to for Levantine Arabic — I’d recommend her without hesitation. She’s from Gaza with a great teaching style: patient, clear, and really good at giving feedback. She is very good at reviewing what you’ve learnt and building on it. I’ve learned a lot from her and always look forward to our sessions. She has also helped a lot with my pronunciation and accent, which is a big part of learning a dialect.

If you want a tutor for the Syrian dialect, Abodi is a great choice. He’s patient and clear and knowledgeable about many things. I’ve learned a lot from him and always look forward to our sessions.
